A popular budget hotel in Davao, OYO 604 Chateau Cinco Dormitel remains in limelight for multiple reasons. This budget hotel in Davao, is located at a distance of about 0.
I stayed in the Deluxe Twin Room and overall, the experience was good with a few important points to consider. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of space for luggage and movement, which made the stay quite convenient. However, the bathroom was very small — definitely not ideal for tall guests. It felt a bit cramped, especially when using the shower. Pros: • Very near Davao Airport, which is super convenient for early morning or late-night flights. • Easily accessible to malls, laundry services, coffee shops, and restaurants — you’ll have no trouble finding essentials and dining options nearby. • The room was clean, air-conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. Cons: • No elevator — my room was located on the 3rd floor, so carrying luggage up the stairs was tiring, especially after a long trip. • Small bathroom — cramped space that might not suit taller or bigger guests. • Traditional key for the room — instead of a keycard system, they use a traditional metal key. I personally found it a bit hassling since the key was hard to turn and needed some effort to lock and unlock the door. Overall, Super OYO 604 Chateau Cinco Dormitel is a good option if you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and conveniently located place near Davao Airport. Just be ready for a little bit of effort with the stairs and key, and manage expectations with the bathroom size.
Location isna little off the main road and hence there is no public transport to the airport although it is near. Room are clean and neat with attached bathroom and hot shower although it is a little pricey. I was ask to pay 5 peso for a paper cup in order to get the hot water from the dispenser, which I am a little surprised. Recommended for short stay.
