Overall, we felt comfortable and it was quite clean. There are two great beaches nearby (a 2-3 minute scooter ride away), and the national park is practically around the corner. The grounds are beautiful and very well-maintained, but we had the feeling that some things weren't quite "thought through." There were no pool towels, outside under the awning are wooden benches without cushions, there's no hook in the bathroom to hang a towel, no cushions for the plastic loungers by the pool, no room service, no reception, and the Wi-Fi hardly worked at all. When we arrived, the owner came over on his motorbike and, without much ado, showed us his phone, where we were asked to indicate which of the reservations displayed was ours. We observed this behavior with other arriving guests as well. During our stay of several days, we didn't hear a single "hello," "good morning," or smile from the staff as they walked by—absolutely nothing. That was somewhat unusual, but oh well. Unser Fazit nach 4 Nächten im OYO Ma Lanta House: Kann man machen, alles in allem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und es war recht sauber. Zwei tolle Stände in der Nähe (2-3 Minuten Fahrt mit dem Roller entfernt) und auch der Nationalpark ist praktisch um die Ecke. Die Außenanlage ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt, aber wir hatten das Gefühl, hier und da wurde nicht ganz „zu Ende gedacht“. Es gab keine Poolhandtücher, draußen unter dem Vordach sind Holzbänke ohne Sitzkissen, im Bad gibt es keinen Haken um ein Händehandtuch aufzuhängen, keine Auflagen für die Plastikliegen am Pool, kein Roomservice, keine Rezeption, Wlan hat so gut wie gar nicht funktioniert. Als wir ankamen, kam der Inhaber auf seinem Moped und zeigte wortkarg sein Telefon, wo wir dann sagen sollten welche der dort angezeigten Reservierungen unsere ist. Dieses Vorgehen haben wir dann auch bei anderen anreisenden Gästen beobachtet. Während unseres mehrtägigen Aufenthalts gabs von Seiten des Personals kein „Hallo“, „Guten Morgen“ oder Lächeln wenn sie vorbeigegangen sind, rein gar nichts. Das war schon irgendwie ungewöhnlich aber na gut. Für den Preis könnte man hier und da einfach bisschen mehr Engagement erwarten.

Draußen der Pool mit der Aussicht ist natürlich auch wunderbar und auch der Roller Verleih lief bei uns reibungslos. Das Restaurant direkt daneben was glaube ich zum Hotel gehört war auch preisgünstig und sehr lecker. Wenn man sich einen Roller mieten möchte, ist der Stand auch perfekt, weil man eine wunderbare Natur überall hat
