This place was not in the area I wanted to be in. My Fiancée and I liked the place once there. I wanted to be near St. Lukes Hospital, but needed to be near St. Lukes Hospital Extension. The extension is near the US Embassy for a reason. We took a 40-minute Grab ride to the extension each of two days. While choosing this place for closeness to the hospital extension was a mistake, we discovered a hidden jewel. The people in the neighborhood were very friendly. Tricycle drivers were close by. We were surprised how much we liked it. It was no frills, but comfy. Most importantly, it was very reasonably priced. I am an American. That may explain my rationale. The shower had a water heater. I loved that!😍 The room had a microwave, mini refrigerator, and dining table with two chairs. It came with a TV and window AC. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. They will ask you for a 1,000 peso deposit for incidentals. Lastly, our flight arrived as their office hours ended. We thought we may need to book another place for one night because I couldn't reach anyone by phone. My fiancée convinced me to go there anyway. We went, and they had a doorbell to ring for late arrivals. All was well until the neighborhood rooster awakened us at sunrise. Welcome to the Philippines 🇵🇭.
