Me and my partner stayed at this magnificent hotel from the 2nd to the 4th of April and all I can say is wow! Upon check in we was greeted by friendly staff behind the desk and assisted us to our room. I have to say I put in a request to the hotel to put some rose petals and a small card that said “happy 1 year anniversary” and i have to say I was blown away with how beautiful they made the room look. Rose petals along the floor, our towels into swans and even tea light candles. Wow wow wow is all I can say! There is so much to do in the area including a wonderful zoo and an amazing horse riding stables plus a beautiful beach only seconds away from the hotel. We did so much in the 3 days we were here and I have 0 faults on anything. The staff were beyond friendly and the environment was beautiful. I would happily stay here again. 10/10

For the price we paid we were expecting an extremely basic no frills place, but were pleasantly surprised. Our room was very small but we expected this because of what we booked, and we didn't need a larger room anyway. The big draws were location and the fact they are dog friendly. The facilities were very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We didn't book breakfast but we did try it one of the mornings and found it to be very good with plenty of choice. It's not buffet style but you order off a menu which was nice. The location is opposite Tolcarne beach at the bottom of town near the train station, an easy walk to anywhere in central Newquay that you wish to go. The parking was convenient right outside the front door but you probably have to organise this in advance like we did but well worth it. Would definitely stay here again.
