Good stay stained by scam paymentThe breakfast was lovely and the ladies serving it were really kind. We would have appreciated more variety in the fruits offered, being a tropical island.rnThe swimming pool area was small but beautiful and peaceful.rnThe bathroom was old but really bright.I received a scam email on my booking.com app and since it had all my booking details and came from the secured app, I went ahead and paid without suspecting it was a scam. I contacted the property to confirm they had received my payment and I received no news until the check in date 3 weeks later. The receptionist confirmed it was a scam and I had to pay my entire booking again. What really bothered me was that she didn't seem surprised or worried about it and, in fact, told me a lot of scams had happened here already. I was quite shocked since I have been using Booking.com for more than 10 years and I never had such an issue... I am now in a battle with my bank to claim refund. Please make sure you do not pay via the app but only on site when you arrive...rnBathroom was old and the shower had no pressure since it was leaking everywhere.
A small resort and it has potentialThe room is big with bathtub and 2 basins. The resort is on a main street but quiet. There’s a supermarket across the street. The pool is small but works fine for us. There’s almost always new towels on sunbeds. We had a room with pool view and the terrace we had was beautiful. The light up candles and lights around the pool in the evening and it’s beautiful and sweet in my opinion.Cleanliness- Even though it’s by far the cleanest room we’ve had in Malaysia, we see stains on bedsheets and it has a specific smell. Some corners in the bathroom we see trash has been laying there for a long time.rnrnMaintenance- some parts need maintenance for sure, not just put tape on itrnrnBreakfast- we stayed for 3 nights and my husband ordered same breakfast with curry puff everyday. On the first day, 1 curry puff. On the second, 2 curry puff. On the third day, 0 curry puff. I ordered one time nasi lemak and I got 2 of them. The next day I saw other guests with only 1 nasi lemak. I don’t understand how they decided to change the quantity but it’d be good to set a standard.
