For being literally the cheapest hotel in the Aberdeen area I can't really complain, but you're definitely getting what you pay for. We changed our holiday destination last minute and this was the cheapest place I found. Once I read the reviews I started being afraid I'd booked me and my dad into a dusty hellhole, but once we actually got here it turned out to be mostly fine. Though all the old Holiday Inn signage and branding is confusing, the bed is comfy, we can open the window, the room and bathroom are clean and tidy. The area is a bit out of the way but there are decent public transport links to the city centre. There is a huge modern church nearby with what looks like a decent cafe, but it opens late on weekends. Overall fine for the literal cheapest hotel in town, but if you have the money for the holiday I'd probably recommend forking out a little extra for somewhere in a slightly less rundown area closer to town.
For the price I was expecting less. My experience was amazing. From the first day till the last. And I stayed for 7days. The rooms especially the bathroom were extremely clean. What I loved the most was the way I was treated by the staffs. Being new to the country they were really supportive. The staffs were very responsive, respectful, friendly and helpful. Any issue or concerns were immediately resolved. The view is beyond beautiful especially in the morning. There is a church few feet’s away. Also kfc and others just across the road. Easy of access to transport into the city which is just about 15mins away.
