OYO 89544 Utama Inn is located in the heart of Bintulu near its must-visit attractions like the historic Monumental Council of State, Pantai Tanjung Batu, or stop by Taman Tumbina Zoo too witness the beauty of wildlife without leaving the city. Travellers from outside the city will find the location convenient as the airport wouldn’t take long to reach by car.
The word ‘modern’ fits the property’s decor perfectly. From the wood panel floor to modern furnishings, every component of the interior looks great together and suits the city living. The use of light beige as the rooms’ primary colour makes the space appears more airy and brighter.
The rooms are complete with essential amenities such as air-conditioning, TV, and free Wi-Fi. Guests can opt for cashless payment as well and be less worry with CCTV surveillance in action.
Bintulu is famous for its culture and local cuisine that never fails to attract guests from other states to enjoy. Famous Mama Cafe, Rasa Sayang Cafe, and Dapur Nina are a few eateries that can be found near the hotel that serve authentic Sarawak flavours you shouldn’t miss out on.
I recently stayed at this budget hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and offers a surprisingly comfortable stay for the price. The location is perfect—centrally located with easy access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. It’s ideal for both short and extended stays. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making check-in and check-out seamless. Though it’s a budget option, the amenities provided are more than sufficient for a pleasant stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for affordability without compromising on cleanliness, comfort, or service.
Relatively new hotel, well maintained and clean. The rooms are well layout but short of a boiler although in every floor there is a hot water, alkaline water dispenser. No elevator so need to use the stairs to go to the rooms. Quite quiet throughout day and night and location is great. Near the waterfront, Central Market, Night Market, restaurants and eateries,, lots of coffeeshops and mini marts around. Very near to the famous Tua Pek Kong Temple facing the riverside.
