Just returned from a 3 night stay at The White Horse, Ripon and couldn't be happier! We will definitely return for future stays! The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful! We had a really amazing room in the stable courtyard, it was big, had a double and single bed, loads of matching furniture with a huge bathroom! We we surprised and very pleased! It was great value! And pet friendly, we took our rescue dog and even his massive crate didn't impose on the room. It's a shame they are not serving breakfast but Spoons and Olivers Pantry are just a few steps away. Location is brilliant, right in the town! And there's free parking on site which is a massive plus! With the blinds down the room was virtually pitch dark which is exactly what I need to sleep! The bed springs were noisy but not uncomfortable, the shower was lovely and big, decor was tasteful, ample wardrobes and drawers, clean carpets and bedding, all in all one of the nicest places we've stayed and we will definitely be back!
If im totally honest which I try to be in life....the room was nice, a double and a single bed.... the toilet unfortunately was leaking all the time so they need to sort the stop clock out.... my brother is a builder so know how things work... he said it was the stop clock.. the lady who was there was a very nice lady she's very accommodating..... there's no windows at the room just a tiny one in the ceiling but not a problem as we were visiting family so only needed to rest our heads.....I would easily stay there again..it's less than 5 mins away from my daughters house so it's perfect for us. The shower didn't work very well but thinking that's cos the toilet was not working properly so the water didn't come out properly, so I didn't wash my hair which but only there for 3 nights so not a huge problem
