Bus: If you’re travelling within the city center, you can make use of the free bus service. There are other commercial bus services also available in the city.
Train: You can travel to places such as Greater Manchester, Ashton-under-Lyne, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport and Wigan by train.
Tram: The tram services here are known as ‘Metrolink’ and they are an easy and convenient way to tour the city.
Take a walk: Manchester can be easily explored on foot. There are special city hosts placed across the main market street, giving out information and advice.

January experiences the coldest climate with temperatures dropping down to 3 degree Celsius on some days. October experiences the most rainfall.
