4. Chittor Fort- Rajasthan
Sprawling over a hill near Berach River, the Fort of Chittorgarh is the embodiment of Rajput pride, romance and spirit. Built by the Maurya rulers in the 7th century, it is one of the largest forts in India, echoing with tales of heroism and sacrifice.
