Booked a night with my husband as we were going to the stadium for the Take That concert. Online check in etc was simple enough and no issues on arrival. Room was basic but clean. Our room was 108 (had been given 103 via WhatsApp but was changed) and overlooked garden which was nice. Positives- Good location (20 minute walk to stadium) , staff were nice and helpful, bed was comfortable, got complementary toiletries, breakfast was good & hotel was very clean. Negatives- Blind cord was broken so couldn't open blind, toilet is wedged next to shower so no space if large, sink can't be filled to wash as tiny and water runs off & shower door didn't close correctly so leaked. The hotel was fine for our 1 night stay & even with the issues had a good stay. Thank you 😊
Stayed in the suite with the jacuzzi bath, asked for a late checkout and they were absolutely amazing. When we arrived no-one was at the desk but turned up within minutes, didn't notice the sign on another table detailing who to call at check in, that should defo be on the desk, the person checked us in and showed us to the room, it didn't have a remote for the TV, but this was sorted instantly, room was great for the price and late check out. It does need some updating with windows but think it's just been taken over so sure they'll sort that asap. The bed was absolutely amazing to sleep on. For a reasonable price stay in Middlesbrough not far from main attractions I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
