A nice enough hotel in the Warwickshire countryside. It really depends on what you’re after. We booked a family room which came with a superking bed (2 singles essentially), and a bunk bed. If you’re after the Hilton, this is probably not the place for you. If you’re after a spacious family room that is dog friendly and close to places like Stoneleigh Park, then get it booked! Room was warm. Beds were comfy. Shower was powerful. TV connected to Netflix which kept the kids amused for a bit. Some of the fixtures and fittings could do with a bit of sprucing, painting and updating, but it didn’t affect me enough to be annoyed by it. The A road the hotel is on can be a bit noisy, but it’s an older building and didn’t stop us sleeping. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there, but I did scope out the breakfast and it seemed as if it had been cooked and was then left in the warming baskets, so you’ll take a punt on the quality. For the price you pay, and what you get, it’s pretty good and I’m fairly sure we’ll stop there again next time we are in the area.

We could even eat something despite the kitchen having just closed. Great! The rooms are very nice and spacious, only the shower head did not stay in place because the rubber was broken. The hallway was a bit noisy, the fire doors kept banging against the wall of the room. Around the hotel there was a great opportunity to walk the dogs and half an hour away from Crufts in Birmingham. De gang was iets gehorig, de branddeuren klapten steeds tegen de muur van de kamer aan. Rond het hotel was prima gelegenheid om de honden uit te laten en op een half uurtje afstand van de Crufts in Birmingham.
