What a gem of a find? A gorgeous country house converted into a hotel. Staff are so welcoming and polite without being nosey. Very professional. I am a wheelchair user and have found both the hotel and grounds to be very accessible. Room itself is huge. I'm on the ground floor with a King size bed. My view is simply stunning. Just open fields. Saw a fox yesterday which was wonderful. The peace and tranquility I have found here makes me want to return again and again. In fact I extended my stay as I'm so comfortable and relaxed here. All I need now is a morning yoga class and I could move in permanently'! First night I had a curry from the restaurant. It was very quick... piping hot and delicious. They brought it to my room which was great. The shower and the water in the wash basin is incredibly powerful. Hot water at any time in plentiful supply. I even have a bath tub! I feel as though I'm on a spiritual retreat and love coming home of an evening to relax. No noise to be heard from fellow guests. The car park is huge.... there is a cost but when you factor it into the cost of the hotel, its still cheaper than most hotels close by. I get to Warwick by car in 11 minutes. Its a beautiful drive. They allow you to order Deliveroo as I've seen them pull up a couple of times. I think you would need your own transport to stay here as it is out in the countryside but it is a very short ride to Kenilworth. I will be back!
Upon our arrival, the hotel had a delightful and unique charm. While some parts of the exterior could use a little TLC, it was clear that renovations were underway. There was ample parking available both at the front and back of the property. Since we arrived early for check-in, we decided to grab some lunch. We were presented with menus and chose to dine outside, taking advantage of the lovely weather. The menu offered a great variety of options. The lady at the bar was incredibly warm and accommodating; she took our order and later brought out our meals, and it seemed she also served in the restaurant. Our food arrived promptly and was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. When it was time to check in, that same friendly lady assisted us, appearing to be the sole front-of-house staff member. We were asked if we wanted breakfast the following morning, and we happily paid, although we didn’t receive any details about it. The room we stayed in was spacious and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including a safe. The decor throughout the hotel was eclectic and didn’t quite follow a specific theme, but everything was impeccably clean and well-kept. After spending the evening in Warwick, we returned to the hotel and were greeted by another friendly lady who seemed to juggle multiple roles at the hotel. After enjoying some evening drinks, we headed back to our room. We had a restful night’s sleep, despite the warm weather. Being on the ground floor, we felt it was best to keep the window closed for security, but it didn’t affect our comfort.
