If you're in search of a budget-friendly spot to rest your head for the night, this is the place for you. I checked out some earlier reviews before making my reservation, and as someone who's experienced a few questionable hostels, I was ready for anything. Sure, the room is compact. If you opt for the lowest price, you'll find a single bed, a side table, and just enough space to open the door. However, the room is nicely equipped. There's ample storage, a television, and a kettle with a selection of hot drinks. The towels and sheets were fresh, although the mattress could be a bit thicker. Is it slightly worn? Yes. But overall, it was in good shape. The walls are a bit thin, so you might catch a tune or two from your neighbors. My neighbor wrapped up their music around midnight, and I could hear some guys chatting in the hallway, but aside from that, it was fairly quiet. There was a hint of damp in the corridor, but thankfully, it didn’t carry into my room. The bathroom was tidy, featuring a heated towel rail and a shower mat. The shower experience was a mix of chilly and a bit intense in the ladies' bathroom. Having a check-in time starting from 2pm is definitely a plus. I’d suggest reaching out to the hosts in advance about check-in, especially on weekends since the café shuts down at 2pm on Saturdays and is closed on Sundays. I didn’t contact them beforehand, so I was a bit surprised to arrive at 2pm and find no one around. Fortunately, I ran into a staff member before they left, so I was able to find out my room number. All in all, it was a solid stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
