My partner and me stayed at OYO for two nights. Overall it was good. There was free parking, our room had central heating, was clean and tidy and the private bathroom/toilet was clean as well. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. The bed was comfy and the Hotel and was only 9 minutes drive from the metro centre. The internet worked downstairs but lost signal when we got to our room, but his was quickly rectified by our hostess who connected me to another connection, and also went out of her way, to make our stay pleasurable. Our stay was room only and we went to Toby Carvery at The metro centre for our meals. There is a shop and fish & chip shop in the street opposite the Hotel and saved the need to goto the metro centre, for light snacks or drinks. The room had a fridge but I@m not sure if it worked. All-in-all I have no complaints about this Hotel and will come again, on our next trip to Newcastle.
Stayed here a few times time and always been brilliant value. Comfy beds, cosy atmosphere, very friendly night porter and nice having the free car park too. Only issues I've ever had have been water pressure / once having no hot water, but there is a communal shower available so not the end of the world, and not worth worrying about for the price really. Definitely staying here again.
