Had such a a good stay at Omah Suropati! In terms of the accommodation, the place is brand new and spotless, and looks exactly as pictured. The staff were AMAZING. It truly felt as though we were there visiting with family rather than staying at a hostel. The all day snacks, coffee, and tea were such a treat! It is a small hostel, but that created an intimate environment to get to know the other guests, and the staff were super involved in the daily activities. They offer a morning run a few times per week, a daily walking tour, and tours to Bromo, Ijen, and Tumpak Sewu. The location was very walkable to restaurants, and the staff made great recommendations for local dishes. You will not regret staying here while you are in Malang!
