Today is a big day for us. We are proud to announce our entry into London, the United Kingdom, our first market beyond Asia. Starting operations with four beautiful properties in London that offer more than 80 rooms, we plan to delight customers looking for quality living experiences at affordable prices, with a selection of over 5000+ rooms in the next 15 – 18 months. We have a dedicated roadmap and a plan to invest £40 million into the UK and will be looking to launch in 10 cities, including Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Edinburgh in the United Kingdom (UK) by 2020.

With this launch, we at OYO Hotels and Homes are all set to etch its international footprint, while reiterating our leadership in the South Asian countries. Whether travelling for business or pleasure, travellers who choose to stay in OYO  know that they can expect consistent, authentic experiences at any of our properties around the world. Our mission is to upgrade all forms of real estate and thereby create a comfortable, affordable and reliable hospitality experience for guests.

In the UK we will offer our guests the OYO Townhouse experience – perfectly suited for the needs of millennial travellers, aspiring for high-quality accommodations. These properties will be operated under models of manchise, lease with full – inventory control similar to other markets like India and China. These hotels will provide affordable and trusted living options for both Indian and International tourists, business travellers, and local city-dwellers.

We are also delighted to welcome Jerry Sanders who will be heading OYO’s UK business.  Jeremy Sanders, an entrepreneur, co-founded the British restaurant chain, Coco di Mama. Over the next year, they will aim to build out the team by hiring an additional 100 OYOpreneurs across the country.
