We have been actively contributing to the ecosystem by transforming the hospitality experience. Being one of the largest purchasers of linen, toiletries and essential hotel supplies in India, OYO helps industries by making bulk procurements of over 40 lakh toiletry kits which are utilized every month across the 173,000 exclusive rooms across its chain while procuring 40,000 units of linen. Today, with OYO Hotels, over tens of millions of customers have access to an ample supply of standardized and trusted accommodation offerings at extraordinarily affordable and predictable prices. This has been possible because of a passionate 1200+ member strong transformation team of civil engineers, interior decorators, designers and fabricators employs local masons, artisans and construction workers.
As part of our continued focus on investing heavily on service quality both in the terms of technology and talent, OYO has set up 22 OYO Skill Institutes in India. The Institutes will be the hotspots of learning and training for young enthusiasts venturing in the tourism and hospitality sector. Along with this, we align with the asset owners in sourcing local talent and ensuring they are well groomed and equipped for their respective responsibilities. Our goal for the year 2020 will be to double the economic opportunities thereby creating a set-up where anyone can come and work with us to ensure the quality of talent is retained and hospitality is seen as the choice of industry to work in!
