At OYO Hotels & Homes we strive to build a culture of excellence led by goal-oriented individuals and leadership who continuously pave the way for sustainable business growth while staying true to our mission. In view to nurturing such talent and recognising the leaders who have displayed an instrumental role in managing operations as well as motivating teams during the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on our business; today we at OYO India & South Asia are elevating six of our key leaders to the position of Vice President.
The duties and responsibilities of the respective individuals shall remain largely unchanged however in the capacity as a Vice President shall allow them a greater role both in business decision making and accountability. We at OYO are a strong believer in the principle of Distributed Leadership and the elevation of six leaders is testament to our company’s ability to walk and talk.
Speaking on the development, Rohit Kapoor, CEO, India and South Asia, OYO shared, “The real test of an organisation’s commitment to first principles of Meritocracy, Diversity and Learning & Development lies in its ability to continue to empower and back good talent through good and tough times/thick and thin. Ensuring that we are recognising the contributions of our ground teams and regional leaders is especially important during this time. We are happy to elevate the six deserving leaders to VP positions and hope that they will continue to inspire and create a lasting impact on the India SA organization.”
