The Yumthang valley in Sikkim is also known as the Valley of Flowers as the rhododendron sanctuary in the valley grows over 24 species of the flower from April to May. Yumthang valley is located in the state of Sikkim at an altitude of 11800 feet. There is a hot spring on the right side of the Yumthang River from where the valley gets its name which is a popular tourist attraction.
Declared as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, Ziro valley in Arunachal Pradesh is a popular tourist attraction for its spectacular natural beauty.
