8. Bhangarh Fort

Located at the borders of the Sariska, Bhangarh Fort is not for the faint-hearted as it has the title of being the most haunted places in India. No one is allowed to enter the Fort before sunrise and after sunset, as locals have experienced unexplainable phenomenon such as ghostly shadows, strange lights, unusual sounds of music and dance, voices of women crying, sound of bangles in the rooms, and strange smells after dusk.

The story of this place is that Singha, a tantrik fell in love with Princess Ratnavati who tried to use magic to win over her but the princess got to know of his evil plans and ordered to get him killed. When the tantrik died, he cursed the residents of the fort to die and the village dwellers to remain roofless forever. This 17-century fort has been long abandoned and yet it continues to attract both local and foreign tourists.

9. Chand Baori

The Chand Baori is a stepwell built by King Chanda in the 9-century. One of the largest stepwells in the world it is one of the hidden secrets of India with 3,500 narrow steps and is about 64-feet deep. It was built to conserve water and provide relief from the extreme heat. Its exquisite geometric design attracts local and international visitors.

10. Mathura

Mathura the birthplace of Lord Krishna is one among Hinduism’s seven sacred cities. 14. Neemrana

The town of Neemrana is situated in Alwar, Rajasthan on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. It is well-known of the Neemrana Fort Palace. It was constructed during the reign of Rajput Maharaja Prithvi Raj Chauhan III in 1464 AD. 15. Gwalior

16. Fatehpur Sikri

17. Bharatpur National Park

Bharatpur National Park is popular as an avifauna sanctuary and is also recognised by the UNESCO as a world heritage site bearing the maximum number of birds. It is also known as Keoladeo National Park. There are as many as 366 species of birds, 379 species of florals, 50 species of fish, 13 species of snakes, 5 species of lizards, 7 amphibian species, 7 turtle species, and a variety of other invertebrates in the 29 km long stretch of the park. 18. Salasar Balaji

Salasar Balaji is a very famous temple situated in the small town of Salasar  in Rajasthan. It is one of the ancient temples in India constructed in 1754 attracting people all over the years. Also this temple has a string of other temples like Khatu Shyamji Temple and Rani Satiji Dadiji Temple which are located at nearby intervals. This place is believed to be very holy and spiritual.

19. Haridwar

20. Galtaji Temple

21. Orchha

Orchha is located on the banks of River Betwa and is a famous tourist destination for it has many historical sites like grand palaces, intricately carved temples and striking forts. The rich architectural sites are evidence to the epic grandeur of the Bundela Dynasty which once ruled and declared Orchha as their capital. Classic mural paintings and frescos are world famous of Orccha.

22. Pilani
