From Parties To Peace, These OxD Villas Are What Everyone Needs On Vacation

When you’re going on vacation, you want to experience the best of the destination. From a peaceful spot to relax as soon as you reach, to a party pad for when you’ve relaxed enough, you want it all. And why not? You deserve it. That’s why OYOxDesign made two such places right next to each other in heavenly Lonavala. So if you’re travelling in a large group, all you need to do is book these two villas and experience the best of this paradise.

OYO Home in Lonavala.

The design and vibe of these villas set them apart from a regular holiday home. While one villa has been designed to cater to those who want peace and quiet in a serene environment, the other villa appeals to a more active group of people who want to party it up.

Having a design vision of this kind is one thing, executing it is quite another. Handmade and hand-cut stencils were used for the paint work on the walls and ceilings here, highlighting the vibe of each space. The patterns on the walls had to be hand-drawn by the team, a challenging and time-consuming task which was done to perfection.

To maintain the easygoing vibe of this holiday home, traditional furniture made way for more contemporary, quirky pieces. One example of this is the “frameless” mirror which was placed in a frame which was directly painted on the wall. Another instance of this is the life sized game which was created by painting it directly on the floor. So instead of looking for board games to play, gather your group and relive your childhood on the terrace.

As with all our holiday homes, the OxD team ensured that planet-conscious, sustainable design was incorporated here. We upcycled used material, which would have gone to waste, to create new furniture and lighting. Old tyres and waterproof foam ply were used to make the super comfortable seating on the terrace. It’s the perfect spot to spend a relaxing afternoon!

The team also used old metal dustbins to make pendant lights which are both artistic and practical.

But that’s not all these OxD villas have to offer. The breathtaking views of Lonavala’s beauty will be all around you here. During the monsoon, as the greenery flourishes, the views from these villas are especially stunning. While the interiors are a thing of joy here, the spaces outside too are spectacular. Enjoy the terrace and garden spaces where you can spread out and sunbathe, or play a game or two. And you don’t have to worry about any disturbances. The unique location of these villas ensures that you get unmatched privacy and unobstructed views.

Located away from the hustle and bustle of the main Lonavala Expressway, these villas are only a short drive away from Lonavala Lake and the waterfalls. Other tourist attractions, like Kune Falls and Bhaja Caves, are also not too far from here.

So, what are you waiting for? Book your tickets and pack your bags. Your holiday villa in Lonavala awaits!
