Places to Visit in Nagercoil: The Ultimate Abode Of The Serpent King

I love to see the travel diaries of other people as they motivate and inspire me to visit the places they have. Recently I came across some photographs of a wedding held in the small town of Nagercoil in the Kanyakumari district. I was mesmerized by the places where the wedding video was shot. So, I researched about this town and made a long list of the Nagercoil tourist places that I wanted to visit someday. I figured out that the winter season would be the best time to travel to this region to see the beauty of the area. Thus, last winter, my friends and I made a plan to visit the beautiful state of Tamil Nadu in South India. We made a long list of the places we wanted to visit in Tamil Nadu. What came as a surprise to me was that my friends also wanted to visit these Nagercoil tourist places. When they confirmed that they too wanted to visit this place, my happiness knew no bounds.

We took the Kanyakumari Express from Kolkata, and we reached the district in around 48 hours. Nagercoil is approximately 18 km from Kanyakumari by road, so we took a cab to reach our final destination. The road journey was spectacular as we travelled through the beautiful areas around Kanyakumari. We had pre-booked a homestay in Nagercoil, and we reached there in a few hours. The train journey was a bit tiring, so we rested for some time once we reached. After that, we went for a walk around the nearby areas to imbibe the essence of the place. Once back, we booked a car for our three day trip around this town. The places that we visited in and around this town were marvellous and made our long journey worthwhile. So, here I am listing all the places that you can visit if you ever plan to visit Nagercoil town.
