Since 2007, SulaFest has been the coolest and grandest musical festival in India. Music artists such as Jan Blomqvist, Nucleya, Nikhil Chinapa, and Amit Trivedi have been its highlight, so when the SulaFest 2020 dates were declared, keeping calm was the first thing to go out of the window.

Find Best Hotels In Nashik

To be held in the Sula vineyards in Nashik on February 1 & 2 this year, SulaFest is India’s biggest vineyard festival. It promises to be bigger and better than all previous years’ combined, and the lineup this year is just amazing! With artists like Salim-Suleiman, The Local Train, Sashanti and Doctor Dru among others set to perform this year, SulaFest 2020 promises to fill your weekend with new and interesting music, other than the delectable wines, gourmet food and attractive merchandise. Excited to get your hands on SulaFest tickets yet?

Which artists are going to perform this year?

Sula Vineyards announced the lineup on the same day they announce the dates, and it is out of this world! SulaFest has been known to give lesser-known music artists a chance, and this year’s lineup is the perfect mix of youth and experience. Here are the artists who are going to make us “dance to their tunes” at this year’s event:

Hot Chip

English synth-pop band Hot Chip is finally making its debut in front of Indian crowds this year at SulaFest and there’s no way I’m going to miss out on that! Hot Chip can always be relied upon to have a catchy song, and there are many songs that I have waited patiently to hear live. I have grown up listening to songs like ‘And I Was A Boy From School’, ‘Motion Sickness’, and ‘Flutes’ and I really can’t wait for them to rock SulaFest 2020!

My Baby

The duo of siblings Joost & Cato van Dijck and Daniel ‘Dafreez’ Johnston forms the band My Baby – famous for making some earworm-y tracks. Their style is influenced by blues, country music and funk which makes them really fun to listen to. Their music is perfect for parties and I’d say their performance at SulaFest 2020 is going to be worth buying SulaFest tickets for!

Salim-Sulaiman

Salim-Sulaiman are probably the most famous names in the lineup, and why not! Their music is so soulful, you can’t help yourself from playing them on a loop. They have composed songs like Aye Khuda (Paathshala), Maula Mere Lele Meri Jaan (Chak De! India) and Ainvayi Ainvayi (Band Baaja Baaraat) and promise to bring melody to the party. It was them that made sure I booked my SulaFest tickets!

The Local Train

The Local Train burst onto the scene a few years ago and has collected a considerable fan following for its rock music since then, contributing to its massive commercial success. They play regularly at music festivals across the country and never fail to make their fans happy!

Jah Sun & The Rising Tide

Predominantly a reggae band, Jah Sun & The Rising Tide brings together uplifting lyrics and hip-hop & reggae, and hopes to inspire others to live to their ultimate potential. The day SulaFest 2020 announced their line-up, I knew this band was going to blow all of our minds!

Voctronica

This group of Acapella artists is most popular for representing India at the Vocal Asia festival 2019, where they mesmerized the crowd with their skills to no end. They promise to bring the same energy to SulaFest 2020, which is going to be captivating, to say the least.

Spindoctor & Friends

Sanjay Meriya a.k.a. The Spindoctor is a highly talented DJ who wastes no time in getting your feet on the floor! He ain’t alone, because he is joined by Tracy De Sa, Poetik Justis, and hip hop & rap artist Samir Rashi Mohanty a.k.a. Big Deal. Convinced to book your SulaFest tickets yet? No? Okay, read on, you will be!

Sindhi Curry

The next artist in the lineup is Sindhi Curry a.k.a. Pramod Sippy who has co-founded Bombay Elektrik Project and The Hive, that works on promoting and elevating new talent. DJ Sindhi Curry has been a mainstay in the Indian music space for over a decade now and promises to bring some serious firepower to the lineup.

Sashanti

Known for tracks such as Jupiter Summer and Chudesato, Alexander Sukhochev a.k.a. Sashanti mostly plays dance and lounge music mostly, which he carefully selects from tech-house, techno, oriental fusion and chill-out. He promises to bring a certain sort of calm after the storm, which should give you enough reason to book your SulaFest tickets right away!

Kohra

Known for tracks like Nautilus Time, Maaya and Acid Kidz, Kohra is a versatile DJ who has played at some of the biggest festivals in the country such as Electric Daisy Carnival, Amsterdam Dance Event and Awakenings (India). He has shared the stage with iconic artists like Dubfire and Adam Beyer which makes him one of the hottest artists to grace SulaFest 2020!

Doctor Dru

One of the key artists of the contemporary house movement, Doctor Dru makes use of his years of deep knowledge of music to dip into for his electronic productions. Surely, he’s going to make the crowd go crazy, and that’s just another reason to take note of the SulaFest 2020 dates right now!

Boxia

An accomplished DJ, Boxia has never disappointed his fans and the fact that he’s coming to SulaFest 2020 takes the excitement level up a few notches. Known for tracks like Only Human and No World Order, he surely knows how to turn a party on its head, all on his own!

Mike Akida

Born in Athens, Mike Akida started DJ’ing in the early ’90s and shifted his focus to electronic music in 1992-93, and then to psychedelic trance in 1994-95. Through the years, he has styled his own version of chill-out music in DJ sets around the world and now plays in various music festivals across Europe, Africa and Asia. He is, without a doubt, going to set this event on fire, so don’t miss out on SulaFest tickets!

Ashes

Originally from California, Ashes is a hip hop artist currently making waves in the midwest. She creates a unique yet relatable type of music by combining old school hip-hop with bass-driven beats. She gives a unique twist to the music she makes that conveys a struggle that’s relatable, raw and real.

Ana Lilia

Hailing originally from Mexico, Ana Lilia’s music is a breath of fresh air in the Indian House music scene. She has played for brands’ festivals such as Elrow and has shared the stage with DJs like Claptone, Sidney Charles, and Mark Fanciulli. Her arrival at SulaFest is going to make sure the stage is on fire with her tech-house music that is laced with tribal overtones.

Zeeqar

With his amazing beats and loops, DJ Zeeqar never fails to get the crowd grooving. The DJ, who began his career in 2011, has a special interest in techno, progressive and funky music, and is a popular name in the mixing circuit. His presence at the event is compelling enough to get your hands on SulaFest tickets, isn’t it?

Rumba De Bodas

Formed in 2008, Rumba de Bodas has never been just about music. Rather, it is about chasing one adventure after the other. They believe in never forgetting their street music roots, which is another big reason why they are so good! Their inclusion in the lineup ensures that people stay excited about the SulaFest 2020 dates

When Chai Met Toast

Comprising of four artists, the band is quite famous for its chirpy and infectious music that will make you feel good if you are having a bad day. Their aim is to create acoustics that transcend age, genre and language barriers. Now that they are coming to SulaFest, the crowd won’t be able to get enough of them!

Electrophazz

Electrophazz is a group of six extremely talented musicians who offer a journey through Soul, Jazz and Hip-Hop music. A love for the groove is at the heart of their music, so you know that the SulaFest isn’t going to have a single dull moment when they are playing.

Now that you have the whole line-up, I don’t see why you should put off booking your tickets by another minute.

Not just that, India’s biggest vineyard festival is going all out and throwing in some mega surprises for us! They have a list of wine experiences to pick from- grape stomping to drowning yourself in it – wine masterclasses to learn how your favorite drinks are made and more! Looking for more adventure? Well, by the end of the night, you can camp at their campsite and fall asleep under the stars. I have been waiting impatiently to be a part of the festival since the day SulaFest 2020 dates were announced and it’s becoming really hard to keep myself together as the festival inches closer.

Here is something else you should know- you can book the SulaFest tickets on Paytm Insider, and Sula Vineyards will plant a tree for every ticket that’s sold, making SulaFest India’s first sustainable music festival! What more reasons for could you still need?!
