When and how to reach?

Like any other hill station, it is best to avoid the monsoons which will be the months of August to October. The heavy downpours will obstruct your plans and make it risky for you to explore the area. The rest of the year is the best time to visit Munnar as the weather is chilly and soothing and the skies mostly clear.

If you are travelling by flight, then the nearest airport is the Cochin International Airport from where you can easily get rental cars to take you to the location. You can even travel by train till the Palakkad Junction Railway Station or even Theni Railway Station. Bus services are also available but not too frequently. It takes around 4 hours to travel from Kochi to Kanan Devan and the nearest bus stop is the Ernakulam KSRTC Bus Stand.
