The best time to visit Munnar is from September to March. This is because the average temperature during these months is a pleasant 21 degrees. The city also sees little to no rainfall during this time. On the other hand, summers last from April to June and are considered quite warm. You can still visit the hill station during these months, but it will not be as pleasant. However, the monsoon in Munnar i.e; months of July and August see heavy rainfall that can last for weeks. As a result, flights can get canceled and road transport may be hampered. That is why it is not recommended to visit Munnar during this time.
