How to Reach the Andamans.

Andaman

The best way to reach the Andamans is by ship. This will be a sojourn that you will never forget, I can bet you. The ship sets sail from Kolkata, Vishakapatnam or Chennai and harbours at Port Blair. Four to five days of sailing and it is destination ahoy. If you are a busy bee with not too much time to spare on sailing the high seas, air is the best option. So go ahead, fly over the clouds and land in the very beautiful Port Blair’s Veer Savarkar International Airport, from any of the major cities of India. To reach Neil Island or the Havelock Island you must take a ferry from Port Blair. The ferries are run by private operators or by the Government.
