On the 19th floor of the historic Statler, Waterproof has both a rooftop day lounge and a pool side club that makes it an ideal spot to relax no matter the time of day.

Traders Village Dallas/Fort Worth is a bargain hunter’s paradise spread over a 100 acres. This wonderland has shopping, food vendors and also an RV park. Admission is free and only $4 for parking.

Cedar Ridge Nature Preserve — Audubon Dallas (7171 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75249)
A little slice of hiking heaven just 20 minutes from Downtown Dallas. Cedar Ridge Preserve is a natural habitat of 600 acres featuring about 9 miles of trails, native wildlife and butterfly gardens. At an elevation of 755 feet, you can pick between easy to moderate trails that make a solid Sunday morning workout.

Oak Cliff Nature Preserve — South Dallas (2875 Pierce St, Dallas, TX 75233)
Enjoy 121 rolling acres of woodlands & wildflower meadows, with 8 miles of trails. Bring your bike out here any time of week for a quick escape into nature.

Trinity River Audubon Center — Trinity Forest (6500 S Great Trinity Forest Way)
Trinity River Audubon Center serves a truly unique nature experience as it allows visitors to explore the Great Trinity Forest along with miles of nature viewing trails, the Children’s Discovery Garden, and sustainable building features. It’s a great place to learn more about the diverse community of plant and animal species that make up the Great Trinity Forest.
