The beach is located at the origin of the Gosthani River, by the fishing town of Bheemunipatam. It is considered to be the safest beach in Vizag and is great for swimming, even for youngsters. There are still a lot of remnants from the erstwhile British and Dutch remnants and they are a joy to explore. The sea is not rough here and swimming is allowed, but going into the deep waters is strictly prohibited.
