1. Rushikonda Beach

The Ram Krishna Beach is a very charming one and it named after the Ramkrishna Ashram that is located just a little way off the beach, on the Beach Road. People often go there to pay their respects. It is clean and beautiful beach and tourists and weekenders come here in heavy numbers. The RK Beach, as it is popularly known, also has quite a few attractions which entertain the visitors. The Submarine Museum cannot be missed and it is one of a kind indeed. Children find it fascinating to visit this museum, which is built in a submarine itself. It the first of its kind in South Asia. The Victory at Sea War Memorial also stands right on the beach and was constructed to commemorate the sailors who lost their lives in the Indo- Pakistan War of 1971. 4. Bheemili Beach

The Bheemunipatam Beach, or Bheemili Beach, as it is popularly known, derives its name from Bheema, the second and the strongest brother of the Pandavas. The beach is located at the origin of the Gosthani River, by the fishing town of Bheemunipatam. It is considered to be the safest beach in Vizag and is great for swimming, even for youngsters. There are still a lot of remnants from the erstwhile British and Dutch remnants and they are a joy to explore. There is also a 17th-century fort nearby that is considered major attraction here and it is juxtaposed by the wonderfully thatched cottages. The sea is not rough here and swimming is allowed, but going into the deep waters is strictly prohibited.
