It’s only 37 a night there’s some things about it that aren’t ideal. The floor is carpet even by the shower, so bring some slippers. The carpet looks new and clean though. The curtains aren’t good enough to keep the sun out. There’s a dollar store down the street tho so if you wanna go buy something cheap like a black trash bag to hang up to keep the light out. You can literally walk to the dollar store. Again. It’s only 37 a night. You can’t even stay at your moms house for 37 a night. For that price you can stay here and drive to that conference in the city. Gas is cheaper than staying at a hotel in the city sometimes. If you take a shower in the winter turn it on hot and let it run for a good 10-15 minutes before you get in. Other than that. Did I mention it’s only 37 a night? The front desk doesn’t always have staff at the desk especially later in the evening. So if you have an issue you may need to call a phone number and wait ten or 15 minutes. I think I heard it’s only like 37 bucks a night though so that’s reasonable. The bed was super comfortable! Better than the bed I had at extended stay America! It may be 37 dollars a night, the bed is the quality of a $400+ per night hotel, and to me that’s really all that matters.
Small, local, American-owned hotels/motels are rare in the USA these days. The owners, managers, maintenance, and housekeeping teams genuinely care GREATLY for their guests. Some of them are facing serious challenges, yet this owner/management team treats each with GREAT courtesy, dignity, and respect REGARDLESS of the person(s). TRULY, a rarity in today's world. A 5-Star, Ritz Carlton, it is not, but the rooms, grounds, and public spaces are ALWAYS clean and orderly. The staff is ALWAYS ready, willing, and able to assist with any issue that may arise, and in a VERY timely manner. BTW: no motel I've ever stayed in has afforded viewing a bevy of deer before dawn and after dusk, nearly every day.
