This is my third year staying here, around this time of year. The owner is always available, and remembers me every time. Every time I arrive way later than closing hours, but he never made me feel bad about waking him up. Also, super helpful with the material I had sent to the hotel ahead of my visit, he put my shipment in the room ahead of my arrival, along with a box cutter. Once, he saw me walking to a nearby restaurant, he pulled up next to me, and dropped me off, without me ever expecting it. In short, hotel owner is always attentive, selfless, and makes you feel right at home. No complaints about the rooms, either. Lobby stays stocked with keurig coffee/tea and snacks.
Very pleasantly surprised by how nice it was to stay at this little roadside motel. Water pressure was great, with very soft water. Remote controlled AC was a dream with it being nearly 90 degrees outside. Beds were firm and comfortable and the rooms were very clean. It was easy to book, painless to check in and check out and worth the stay if you are visiting nearby walnut grove. Either the rooms are insulated with soundproof board or the people walking in and out of the room next to us were mimes, because we couldn’t hear a single thing from outside our room!
