It is an older motel, but in pretty good shape. The rooms were very clean, beds were nice, clean and no bed bugs. Room heated nicely with the window unit. Open the back door to a little porch and looks out over a grassy area and the river. It's an older motel but we would stay again. The floor was a little bit wavy and some of the paneling was coming up a bit but my kids really enjoyed it and it was clean and easy to get to Cherokee and Bryson City. Would definitely stay again for the price. Lovely Cherokee Indian lady was in the office and there if we needed anything.
I stayed at this hotel for a week. The price was incredibly affordable, and the setting was so relaxing and comfortable. Willy is fantastic, lovely, and always available. The evening I arrived on my motorbike, freezing cold, he immediately gave me a blanket. So thoughtful! The sound of the river is soothing, and the ambiance created by the outdoor lighting makes the evenings magical. I absolutely fell in love with this place!
