While some say outdated, I say vintage <3 (Even had retro key) Room was cute, super clean, smelled amazing. AC was ice cold. Roku TV which was very unexpected. I’ve paid more for a room and got much, much worse. As a solo female, felt very safe. I was road tripping and no one had rooms in Maggie Valley and had no interest staying in Cherokee and this popped up on maps. Phone call was a little sketchy (3rd party call center) but when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Very nice lady working the office. Will definitely be my regular spot when passing through again / in the area for work.
Llyods on the River is wonderful. Sitting perfectly on a river your close drive to everything.. 15 mins max to Casino and Cherokee, perfect spot close to other wee towns. I’m so happy I found this little piece of heaven. Elizabeth manageress can’t do enough for you and is very sweet. . It’s lovely and quiet , very clean.. I’m on a working trip and so greatful for a little down time in my own little heaven. Highly recommend if you’re just looking for something sweet and in the middle of everything.
