This room was aged but extremely clean. The service was straight on service, no small talk, in my opinion this is excellent. When I asked questions about amenities or local services, the man behind the counter answered without hesitation and didn't have to fumble around thinking about what to say and did not flourish the answer. Again, straight on service. Location was close to enough to main event to take a trolley but far enough that the atmosphere on the balcony was peaceful and not littered with noise pollution. Structurally, Even though the walls were a little thin, most outside noise from the other visitors was muffled. Tactically, I knew when anyone came close to my door. This is invaluable. Last thing, the room was extremely clean. The cleaning crew deserves an inordinate amount of credit and recognition. There will be a big tip left on the counter the next time I stay there regardless of the duration.
The rooms are outdated but overall they aren't to bad. The curtains didn't close all the way and I didn't feel comfortable with that being that way. The location of the hotel is not to bad but if you don't know the area the curve will get you. The service at first I'm not going to lie I was annoyed and fed up ready to cut my loss and find somewhere else to stay. But after about 25 minutes of back and forth we got it figured out. There is a $50 deposit that is supposed to be refunded the next day and here it is 5 days after we checked out and we have not received that refund yet. Overall it's not to bad of a hotel especially for the price.
