This is your typical road side motel. The room was well furnished with two full size beds, a mini fridge, coffee maker, & microwave. It is dated in decor but I think that adds to the nostalgia of this kind of motel. The bathroom was very clean but didn’t provide any soap. My only concern was the carpeting in the room. It looked clean but felt funny on your feet. Almost like maybe when the carpet was cleaned the soap wasn’t rinsed out of it. The staff were friendly & accommodating. We didn’t try it because we’re not early risers, but they provide a home style breakfast from 6am-9am. Located within walking distance of several bars & restaurants and also a convenience store a block up.
You know you’re not staying at the Hilton. What you see is what you get. Shower and tv worked as did the refrigerator. If you have simple needs, it is what it is. Dog friendly too which kicks ass
