The room was better than I expected considering it is a transit hotel. The cleanliness could be better, there were a few small hairs in the bathroom and I think that is one of the things that needs to be checked the most. I thought it would smell bad, but the room smelled clean. The bed, the sheets were clean. I didn't like that they put three pillows, for a king size bed they should put a minimum of 4 pillows. My daughter and I were on-site for the nuclear plant outage in jenkinsville. This hotel is about 30 minutes away. They also offer rooms with a kitchenette which is extremely convenient. There is a gas station and waffle house directly next door which was also nice. Grocery shopping, local restaurants, laundry mat, dollar stores are all within 10 minutes. When we arrived we had clothes to wash and the hotel has a washer but the dryer was on the fritz, so they dried our clothes in the hotel dryer for us. Staff was amazing. Management checked us in and was extremely helpful and kind. I completely forgot about our clothes in the dryer, was helping my daughter study for her tests, and cleaning staff folded them an brought them to us. Then told is she was on-site if we needed anything else. Drawbacks, kitchenette are hard to get. Other guests (construction crew) made my daughter and I feel uncomfortable. Room was newly renovated but could have been cleaner(hair in bathroom, bootprints on tile floor) . All in all great people, great value and close to plant.
