So, I am going to give this 5 stars because the ratings look like they could use some help, and it's not THAT bad. There was a brand new shipment of couches being installed the day I arrived, and they are the best. I wish I had one of these couches at home, and I usually hate hotel couches, for one. Excellent choice. So, the room I am in is a little shabby, but I can't complain for the space and the price... mainly the space. Not to mention, the real wood floors are a classic that faux wood can't touch. The field across from the parking lot leaves a country feel to the place. They seem to be pretty up-and-up with pest control; I have had no real problems. The room could use some updating, the door that leads to the neighbor's room leaves no room to the imagination as to what's really going on over there, and you have to drive fifteen minutes to get anywhere. And I am very okay with all of that. If there is anything wrong, you can always talk to the front desk. It's interesting here, if nothing else. It's definitely not the Ritz or a Hilton, but it's a clean and comfortable-enough place to lay your head if you're broke and need a place to rest. I would stay here again if my RV broke down. Really... the size of the room is outstanding, coming from someone who bounced around in cheap hotels for about a year-and-a-half. If Kevin added full kitchenettes, it could easily be transformed into an extended stay suites type place and rack up a little bit more business.
Very nice management and holds my delivered packages. One was nice enough to walk to my room and let me know that I left one of my dogs in the entrance instead of just letting him out within a few minutes of me walking inside my room. That's going the extra mile for me 😀
