The hotel is very nice however the male associate was apparently dealing with some personal issues. I asked him for my receipt and surprisingly he refused, several times. I've spent over $500 staying in the hotel but I will never again stay at the Motel 6 in Greenwood MS highway 82. The man threw my children's brand new clothes in the dumpster knowing I was still staying at the hotel and his response is "Dont worry about it." Everyday he would have this mean look in his eyes and would always find a reason to stress me out as if I was breaking the law or doing something against hotel policy. He completely disrespected my family, threaten to charge us for everything, and refused to give me my receipts. I respect the business and the employees however I am still an American citizen. The Mississippi Consumer Affairs Division and the BBB will see this review. Hopefully that will remind the worker that there are laws in America against discrimination and prejudice.
Have stayed there before when it was the Rodeway Inn and there have been major upgrades. There is still some work that could be done, but the change has been amazing!
