After being evicted this is a decent place to crash for a while. It's not the best, but not the worst. I had to put new batteries in the TV remote and program it in order for it to work, and found out the HDMI 1 port doesn't work. The attached pictures show the lack of any type of view from the filthy window, which can not be opened for fresh air. That wouldn't be too much of a big deal if the AC/heat unit would actually work. It's set at 68 but the indoor thermometer I have shows almost 80. It's hot in here! Biggest bummer of all - the pool is PERMANENTLY CLOSED, I've seen it for myself! I was so stoked to be able to go swimming, and everywhere I looked online said there is an indoor swimming pool. False advertising, either they haven't bothered to update their info, or they want people to think there is a pool available. At least there's a small fridge in the room, I was surprised by that. No microwave or anything else, but there is one in the lobby along with complimentary coffee. They're also pet friendly, with no extra charge and no restrictions, which is almost impossible to find in a budget motel. All pets are on the 3rd floor, but there is an elevator. If you're just looking for a place to rest your head for a bit, this place will do, but that's about it. Update - 2 staff members showed up at our door regarding the AC, only to tell us that it wouldn't kick on because it was too cool outside. They said they'd bring us a fan to use, but they didn't. There's a nice lady that works nights at the front desk, and after speaking with her, we finally were able to borrow a fan. The next day, the issue persisted and they finally moved us to a new room. It's so much cooler now, so there had to be something wrong with the wall until. We are staying here for at least another week, and had to order something from Amazon. Being technically homeless right now, we don't have an address to send it to, and we didn't see anything regarding items being delivered anywhere on the web site or in the room. It wasn't until after I mentioned the delivery to the front desk that I was told that they don't allow anything but medication to be delivered. I explained that I was not aware and that the package would be there the next day, so it seemed to be ok. It wasn't anything large or heavy, just a couple WiFi dongles for our computers. I was puzzled about the rule after seeing things like DoorDash and such left in front of room doors. I don't really see the difference, it's not like we're getting our regular mail here every day. We've since opened a P.O. Box and found an Amazon Locker location to send items to. They're both a bit out of the way and it would be much easier to just have stuff delivered here. At least post something somewhere about the medication only rule. I'm editing my review to reflect the change in room score and the change in service. Update - We were informed on 12/26/2024 that the hotel had been sold and we have to leave by 01/05/2024, as the new company did not allow pets and they had to renovate our room. We had to scramble to find another place to stay, but thankfully someone helped us out with that. All things considered, it was a decent place to stay for a while, and staff were super nice. I was actually sad to leave. Manny and Carol (front desk) are wonderful people! FYI, the hotel is now Scottish Inn.

Not sure why all the complaints on here, but we had no issues with the rooms or anything. In fact, this is the best Motel 6 we’ve ever stayed in to where we’ll be returning again this year
