The bedding had a few marks on it, but overall it was comfortable. The bathroom could use some updates, as there was a bit of mildew in the tub. We requested a non-smoking room, and while it was mostly smoke-free, we did catch a hint of smoke from the neighboring room. The TV had a bit of a hiccup, but the staff was quick to assist us, which was a nice touch. We found that the remote was a bit tricky, requiring some creativity to turn it off, but we managed.
The room was quite unique with a constant hum coming from the corner. It felt like there was a secret machinery working away behind the walls. I didn’t mind too much since I was so tired, and the air conditioning helped drown it out. It seemed like something the staff might already be aware of, but it didn’t detract from an otherwise pleasant stay.
