Wall sconces on either side of the bed did not work. All other lighting did. I stayed in a recently renovated room on the first level. I have no knowledge of the condition of "standard" rooms in the motel. A side door that was supposed to be locked was propped open with a magazine, allowing entry. I wonder how frequently motel staff makes security checks on the premises generally, including parking lot.

I enjoyed the room. It was clean but the room appeared old and could use some remodeling. Otherwise the staff was friendly. I was able to do my laundry and spend the time peacefully with no problems.
