The front office staff were all kind and helpful - especially when I pushed the front door (that clearly says “pull”) so they would have to leave it open until they could get the closing mechanism repaired. The one big problem was that wifi internet access did not work - staff appeared unwilling or unable to troubleshoot. This is a big problem (my cell phone coverage is weak there) and could be a deal breaker for me both in returning there and in recommending it to others.
This is by far my favor motel 6. It is consistently clean, well staffed, well run, and centrally located. The staff (especially Debbie who I am always grateful to see during the week) is all very helpful, but also practical and resourceful. They don’t just blindly follow protocol, the assess each situation and use critical thinking to make sure their customers get the most appropriate and economical outcome. This is rarefie an economy hotel and it truly sets them apart in my book!
