While I cannot speak to any other review, I would like to share my recent [June 2024] two night stay and my OYO experience. The room rate is phenomenal! Both check-in & check-out were quick and easy. My room was very clean. Quite comfortable. Very quiet!! In fact, this stay was only one of only a handful of motel / hotel stays where I actually slept well. Seriously! Bonuses (1) true to dog friendly. Lots of green space for our 4-legged children 😊 (2) walkable to city center; restaurants and shopping center. If you’re in McAllen I recommend staying with OYO
