I give this place 5 stars because the staff and OYO has followed up with me and the effort is there to improve the Hotel during and after my stay. I have to be true to myself the affordability of the hotel is great. Title: Great Staff, Room Needs Improvement I recently stayed at this property and want to share my experience. David, a staff member, went above and beyond to assist me. He helped with my luggage and ensured I got a wheelchair accessible room, which I appreciated greatly. However, there are a few areas where the property could improve: The room had a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke, despite being labeled as non-smoking. The light switches were a bit confusing to use at first. The bathroom door was damaged. There were some cleanliness issues, such as cockroaches in the microwave and the bed. The sheets and overall cleanliness of the hotel could be improved. The hair dryer was melted, and the ironing board was missing its cover. While the floor appeared well-vacuumed, it wasn't ideal for walking barefoot. On the positive side, the room was spacious and wheelchair accessible. The property has great potential and, with some improvements, could offer a much better experience for guests. The price is affordable, and the staff, especially David, are responsive and helpful. I appreciate their efforts and hope to see some improvements in the future.
Honestly for the low low price of $60, this was a fantastic experience. The rooms were a bit dirty as there was a hair in the shower and a drink ring stain on top of the fridge. There was also black mold on the bathroom ceiling. However seeing as this area was hot with a hurricane and poor weather I am excusing that. The whole area is struggling with mold currently so I don’t think this is a Hotel issue. They are working on fixing the place up. The front desk service was also hard to access and they don’t give you the WiFi code. There is also no continental breakfast. THAT BEING SAID, I still enjoyed myself and again, this room was only $60. A great deal of you need something nice, quiet and comfy. I would absolutely come back.
