We stayed for a night on our way to Diamond Hill Mines. Just wanted a place to sleep overnight, and what we found was a gem of a hotel. A nostalgic, quaint, cozy hotel with a free breakfast in their dining room. A decor from the early 1900’s, I felt like I was transported back in time. The only 4 star review I gave was for a needed upgrade of their bathrooms. Bathtub, and toilet need to be updated, but other than that, comfy beds and a wonderful place to stay.
OYO booking was horrible. I asked if he was onsite he insisted he was. This was a lie. I met the owners at the Belmont, certainly not the person I talked too. The OYO person was very pushy for me to make the payment, they are a 3rd party vendor, not to be trusted. Call the Belmont directly, verify it is them. Then book!
