We were attending a wedding in Abbeville on June 15th. We had looked at other place but seemed too far away. We were skeptical, of course, to stay somewhere we had not stayed before. Let me tell you, I would stay there anytime. It was so warm and welcoming. The inn is so impressive with the way it is decorated with history. Love the wooden floors, the beautiful piano in the parlor, the dining areas decorated with history and just a beautiful atmosphere. We felt so at home while we were there. The ladies who helped us check in was so humble and appreciative of us staying there and filled us in on all the goodies they had to offer there and around town. Would I stay there again? Absolutely, positively, YES!
We stayed for a night on our way to Diamond Hill Mines. Just wanted a place to sleep overnight, and what we found was a gem of a hotel. A nostalgic, quaint, cozy hotel with a free breakfast in their dining room. A decor from the early 1900’s, I felt like I was transported back in time. The only 4 star review I gave was for a needed upgrade of their bathrooms. Bathtub, and toilet need to be updated, but other than that, comfy beds and a wonderful place to stay.
