Stay at the budget hotel with top rated amenities, the OYO Hotel Valley View TX U.S. 77.
We had a quite pleasant stay here...our room was HUGE and so was the bathroom and vanity area. I don't hear much highway noise and I don't mind it anyways because I need white noise to sleep. The highway is just that. There are no horns, brake sounds etc just cars whizzing down the TX highway... business as usual. I felt incredibly safe here and theres a Dollar General & a fun little convenience store within walking distance. Be sure to snag a pizza made fresh and piping hot..it will still be hot by the time you finish your walk back to your room. We actually had a really fun time here it was low key, laid back, clean and cozy. The Roku TV was delightful 🙂 they are strict about check out times, they only have one gal cleaning and she has a lot to do in a short amount of time so cut her some slack, she's just following the owners instructions and is doing her job very well if I do say so myself. The property is very reasonably priced and Valley View is a very quaint and cozy tight knit little town just trying to rebuild from an all too familiar experience with natural weather patterns that are consistent in the area. Show Valley View & Sanger as well as the Oyo a little bit of Lone Star love if you are blessed to breeze through the area 🇨🇱❣️🇨🇱❣️🇨🇱❣️
The hotel is right alongside I-35 so you have to expect the traffic noise. Luckily, we were in a room at the corner of the L-shaped hotel and were somewhat sheltered from it. The room was clean, smelled clean and had everything we needed including a microwave and fridge. There’s no breakfast, but we were aware of that and had our own supplies along. The location was perfect for us after attending a wedding at a venue about 8 miles away.
