Would definitely stay again…...The location is the key selling point of this accommodation. It’s a historic building in the middle of the old town and all the sights are walking distance (or the number 29 bus for 20p if you want to go to the fort). The staff are also very nice and the chef (there’s a small cafe on site) is exceptionally good. There is a new manager so some of the things which needed attending to, in order not to annoy other western guests were highlighted and I assume will be resolved. You have to expect some noise, and it seems that either this is a locals hotel (which is no bad thing for both cost and the excellent food) or the staff live in, but it certainly has a ‘locals’ vibe but we liked it.nThe bed was exceptionally hard which wasn’t really for me but my husband loved it. My complimentary breakfast turned out to be toast and butter with a hot drink, save yourself thé bother and ask for the breakfast menu….some true delights on there for a few coins.
