Had the opportunity to stay for one night. Nice place. Has good vibe and ambience. Very airy, neat, clean and hygenic. Enough space inside and outside to move around. Easy access from the main road; barely 450 metres from the Kallar - Mankulam main Road and 70 metres from Mankulam - Thalukandam village road. Lies at an altitude of 2460 feet. The Rajamala Mountain Range that boarders the Lechmi Estate from Mankulam to Munnar towers up on the east and the mighty Mankulam River lies down on the north. From the hotel, you will get the view of the mountain, but not the river as it is 400 mtrs down. This Homestay is ideal as it is located in a central place and from where you can move to Anakkulam on the north and Lechmi Estate on the south and visit all the picnic points in between, leisurely. The living room is spacious with three double beds, 2 bath rooms, 2 wardrobes, a big dining table, sufficient chairs and a wall TV. A long sit-out in the front with a spacious courtyard in its front add more vibe. A well equipped kitchen is attached to one side, where you can make tea or prepare your own food. If you want food from outside, the nearest shopping centre is just 1 km away. The housekeeper Mr. Sunil is very helpful, cordial and all attentive. He will be at your service whenever you need him. We really liked staying in this homestay.
