    DAMAGE AND INCIDENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    1. By booking and staying at this hotel facility, you agree to abide by the following OYO Technology and Hospitality (“OYO”) Damage and Incidental Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). You also agree to abide by the applicable Guest Terms and Conditions, OYO Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. The Guest Terms and Conditions and OYO Terms of Use are hereafter collectively referred to as “Guest Policies”.

    2. You understand that at the time of check-in you will be required to present a valid major credit or debit card issued in your name along with a valid government photo identification. This pre-authorization is separate from what you have used to secure payment for your stay on any online travel agency.

    3. OYO requires that a pre-authorization be made on your credit or debit card at check-in to ensure the validity of the payment method and to cover any damage, incidentals, or fines incurred during your stay as further defined in these Terms and Guest Policies. OYO and/or the hotel facility do not have any control over the policies of your bank or credit card company and will not be held liable for any “insufficient funds” penalties, hold, any other resulting fees, and/or charges including fraud transactions. It is your responsibility to fully understand the manner in which pre-authorizations and charges are processed by your financial institution and what impact they may have on your debit or credit card.

    4. You must keep the guest room(s) and its content(s), including but not limited to all furniture, electronic equipment, fixtures, fittings, and effects (the “Property”) in, on, or at the facility in the same state of repair as at the start of your stay, and shall leave it in the same general order in which it was found when you arrived.

    5. Damage or Incidentals include, but are not limited, to the following:
    • Any charges for minibar, restaurant, or food that are not included in the nightly room rate.
    • Guest rooms are left with waste strewn around, in complete disorder, and/or disarray that requires major deep cleaning.
    • Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishings, and/or equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, artwork, etc.
    • Any damage to hotel property, whether accidental or willful. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. OYO reserves the right to press criminal charges in extreme cases
    • Damage to mattresses and linen including; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of body oils, shoe polish, etc.
    • Damage or tampering with fire detection systems/fire fighting equipment. OYO reserves the right to take action against any guest or visitor found to have tampered or interfered with any detection equipment throughout the hotel, including detector heads in public areas, guest rooms, break glass points, and fire extinguishers. Guests or visitors found to have tampered with any fire detection or fire-fighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the hotel due to their actions and will be evicted from the hotel. Depending on the severity of the guest’s actions, law enforcement may become involved at the hotel’s discretion.
    • No smoking policy and compliance with the law: This hotel facility strictly adheres to the Compliance with Health Act 2006 effective in England on July 1, 2007. Applicable law prohibits smoking in virtually any enclosed workplace or public area and includes guest hotel rooms that have been designated as such. OYO and the hotel Property reserve the right to charge your credit or debit card the statutory fixed penalty of £200 for any smoking in or on the Property.

    6. You understand that you will be responsible for the reimbursement to the hotel facility for all damage, breakages, or loss(es) caused to the Property by you and/or the rest of your guest(s). We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your guest room(s) or the Property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, incidental charges, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc.

    7. If any breakages, damage, or loss(es) occur during your stay, you should report it immediately to the hotel facility staff (as soon as reasonably practicable, but always before checkout). The Property management will also conduct post-stay room inspections and will follow their procedures to process any damage or incidental charges.

    8. Damage, as referenced in these Terms, does not include:
    • general cleaning, ordinary wear and tear, theft of cash and securities, and non-physical damage such as breaking any hotel rules.
    • any type of bodily injury or proprietary damage to your (and your guest(s)) personal belongings or others, any kind of criminal activities, secondary/consequential loss, third-party liability, for which the hotel property could seek damage fees outside of these Terms.
    • It also does not cover any damage that might be caused by an event of force majeure.
