The Das Nami Akhara is another religious place situated here which commemorates the memory of the great saint, Baba Hardit Giri. The best time to visit this place is the weekend after Diwali when congregations are held for three days followed by a ‘Bhandara’ that is held by the preachers for conveying religious sermons to the disciples.
Mata Chakreshvri Devi Jain Temple here is said to be 1000 years old and the divine powers of Mata Chakreshvri Devi have been painted beautifully on the walls of this temple. The walls in the temple are elegantly decorated with glasswork. The water fountain in this temple has been transformed into a small well and even now the water in this tank is considered to be holy by the devotees. Devotees believe that this water is as sacred as the water of the Ganges and carry it home to preserve and consume it.
